The goal was to stimulate appetite by re-creating the cafeteria into a fun place for relaxation and excitement.
The research involved an in-depth check of industrial best practices where i referenced general searches from google and pulled inspiration from a couple of works from around me like, Anth insecta's wall art at the Super Geek office. Yvonne (the Nerdy Artist) & Martin (Ufo) at Neo Cafe office and the wall deco in Chicken Republic here in Lagos. These really helped a lot.
The process started with listing out all the food related items i could remember. and basically sketching out a toon inspired mural with the traditional pen and paper.

After which i transferred the completed sketch into my computer and re-traced it out in adobe illustrator in order to get a vector version which is more precise, cleaner and can be scaled into larger sizes.
I then transferred it into Photoshop for final touches and re-sizing into the required board sizes. And also made a mock-up of what the final outcome is to be like. plus, i named it the Bukateria. ENJOY!
